Hi my name is Lori Zapfe and I own and operate  Z Acres Farm. I started Z Acres Farm business under the home based vendor Indiana food cottage law. I am a home-based vendor in Ripley County, Indiana.  I am a life long resident of Indiana grew up in Rush County where we lived until 2021 when I bought this farm. I wanted to really slow down and start enjoying nature and embrace the tranquility of living on a farm. We bought chickens and Nigerien dwarf goats our first year to start the farming dream. I planted my first garden in 2022 and had great success and enjoyment from preserving the food I grew. I bought a freeze dyer in 2023 to add another way to preserve our garden produce for long term storage. I decide to try some freeze-dried candy, and I was hooked. Freeze dried treats are so delightful and melt in your mouth if you let them. So, I decided to start my food cottage business and offer freeze dried treats. If you have a loved one that has teeth or jaw problems but still love candy Z Acres Farm can help you out.
